Welcome Incoming President, Amanda Smith
Amanda K. Smith is Program Manager at the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) with more than 12 years of experience in the non-profit sector, developing and marketing professional development programs for the adult learner. She brings a diversified outlook on program development, as she has worked in the healthcare, foodservice, commercial real-estate and media industries. Smith has held various titles, which has heightened her expertise on many levels. Those positions include: Membership Coordinator, Educational Affairs Coordinator, Manager of Education & Research, PR & Marketing Director and Program Manager.
In her most recent works, Smith led the revitalization of premiere quality programming for the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF). In most cases, Smith increased program recruitment by over 50% and developed significant exposure for the Foundation through partnership building and creating strategies for brand awareness.
Smith currently serves on the Board of the Alliance for Women in Media National Capital Area Affiliate (AWM-NCAC) as Program Director and was recently elected to serve as President. Her term begins June 2014.
Smith studied Business Administration at Montgomery College and is currently pursuing her PMP Certification.
